We're getting close to Autumn (WOOOO) so I thought I'd share this beautiful November wedding from a few years ago. It was my first SOLO wedding, and I was kind of super nervous, but it couldn't have been better!
I first met Caitlin while going to school at Utah State University - we were in the same church ward, and soon figured out we knew a lot of the same people from high school. Can you say, insta-friends?! One of the things I loved about Caitlin from the beginning was her kind and beautiful heart. She was always so sweet, and channeled her sweetness into everything she did, including her incredible artwork. We bonded over random high school friends and our mutual love of Broadway and Disney musicals.
A few years after we graduated, Caitlin told me she was engaged to Jayson and I GEEKED OUT. I was so excited for her! When she asked me to be her Bountiful Utah Wedding Photographer, I couldn't say no. I was stoked!
Caitlin and Jayson's wedding day could not have been more perfect. It was a beautiful November day - we were even lucky enough to have clear skies and warm-ish sunshine! They exited the Bountiful LDS Temple to cheers and hugs from their closest friends and family. It was easy to see how loved this couple was and how happy they were to be together!
They're reception was fantastic - Caitlin managed to rent the old Forever 21 space at The Gateway in downtown SLC, and transformed it with huge pictures, silhouettes, banners, and beautiful tables of food. It was completely eye-catching!
At the end of the night, a few of Caitlin's family members sang songs to honor the couple - Caitlin even wrote a song and sang it! It was so much fun, and such a unique way to finish the reception. I loved being Caitlin and Jayson's Bountiful Utah Wedding Photographer!
