It's always a beautiful day when I get to spend it with a beautiful couple in a beautiful place. I met Aubrey & Michael back in April when we took their engagement photos in Kolob. They met as students at Southern Utah University and wanted to commemorate their meeting place with with their engagements before their wedding in northern Utah with their families.
It had been a while since I've photographed an LDS temple wedding, so this was really exciting for me! For those who don't know, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly known as the Mormon church) has many beautiful temples where members are able to get married. I love photographing these weddings because the buildings are so grand and amazing, and they provide such a wonderful scene for a new husband and wife!
Aubrey & Michael were married at the Mount Timpanogos Utah temple on an amazing, warm day. It was the first real warm day of the summer, a perfect way to start their new life together. I have to say that Aubrey & Michael are two of the most happy, bubbly, friendly, loving people I have ever met, and when I met their families, I knew instantly where they got it. Everyone there was so welcoming, so that by the time I left at the end of the day, I felt like part of the family. Take a look below to get a glimpse into this amazing day as Aubrey & Michael's wedding photographer!
